About

Meet the Team

Minpraxis grew out of a problem founder Stefan Nadolski encountered again and again throughout his mining career: major engineering decisions were being made with limited information about the rock itself.

The need for reliable engineering data was becoming more critical. Yet most of the drill core samples being collected were destined for assay.

Stefan saw an opportunity to get more from those samples: detailed data on strength, hardness and density, collected along the core without disruption to the assay process.

Drawing on his experience with high-pressure grinding roll technology, Stefan began developing and patenting what would become the Minpraxis Tester in 2019.

  • Stefan Nadolski

    Stefan Nadolski

    Founder and CEO

    P.Eng., PhD

Stefan founded Minpraxis and led the design and development of the Minpraxis Tester. He has 21 years in mining, starting with an HPGR supplier on early installations in Australia. His later work in mine-to-mill integration, energy efficiency, sensor-based sorting and mining technology laid the groundwork for the MPT. He holds a PhD in Mining Engineering from UBC, focused on cave mine and mill integration.
